BROTHERSTON TROPHY SENIORS 55+
On Tuesday, 3rd June, 161 players aged 55 and over participated in the Brotherston Trophy at Southerness. Despite wind speeds of 20 mph causing challenges, the weather remained predominantly dry with only a few showers later in the afternoon and evening.
Neil and his team had prepared the course meticulously, a fact that was unanimously praised by the participant’s post-round. Morning scores reflected the challenging conditions, setting a benchmark for the afternoon competitors. The latter group benefitted from more favourable conditions, leading to the winning score.
Club Captain Clark Riddick would like to thank Neil and his team for presenting the course in fantastic condition. Andrew and his staff in the shop for the running of the event before and on the day of the competition. Donald for his usual high standards doing the starting duties. Nikki and her bar and kitchen staff for looking after the competitors before and after their rounds. Lastly to all the competitors who made the journey to Southerness to participate in the Brotherston Trophy I hope you all enjoyed your day.
