We had a very successful day on Sunday when 34 teams competed in our charity golf tournament. The sun shone and with light wind the conditions were near perfect.
Scoring was good with Shaun McGauchie’s team coming out top with 114 points. Second was Joan Lumsden and her team with 110 points beating Doreen Walker’s team which scored equal points. Donald Robertson and his team were fourth with 109 points.
A total of £3,280 was raised for our local mountain rescue charities.
Many thanks to all Members and visitors who supported this event which was held to commemorate the 70th anniversary of our golf course. Special thanks to all Members who donated raffle prizes and who gave their time on the day to ensure the event was successful.
